Sulthan sees this through the news and extends their stay in the village for 5 more months and in their stay, they will practice agriculture. Meanwhile back in Sulthan's city, the police force starts a sting operation to kill all the goons in the city in unofficial encounters to attain peace.
This leads to Sulthan thrashing and injuring Jayaseelan and his men. Jayaseelan brutally beats all the villagers including Rukmani. As they prepare to leave, a villager informs the gang that Jayaseelan has taken over the city. But Sulthan who is in the market stops the attack and yells at the gang. Sulthan is reprimanded by Rukmani while Mansoor and the gang attempt to kill Jayaseelan at the market. The only way to stop Jayaseelan is to prove their lands are fertile and that crops can grow on the land. The village finds out that Jayaseelan is not after their lands but rather for the iron in a mountain. The gang secretly follows Jayaseelan planning to kill him but their attempts are unsuccessful. The gang wants to leave but Sulthan tells them that until Rukmani falls in love with her they will not leave.
Sulthan tries to woo her but to no avail. He confesses his love for her to the family and asks for her hand in marriage but she rejects him. Otta Lorry rejects her as an act, but Sulthan genuinely falls in love with her at first sight.
The head's daughter Rukmani acts as the bride. The entire village goes along with the lie with a promise made by Mansoor saying that they will kill Jayaseelan. Sulthan takes the entire gang with him to go to the village so they will be out of trouble. Otta Lorry comes up with a lie that he has a marriage proposal in the village. They try to sneak out to the village but Sulthan catches them. Mansoor sends twenty of the men including Otta Lorry to kill Jayaseelan but Sulthan forbids them to go. Mansoor gets a phone call from the village head reminding him of the promise made to them. Manickavel gives Sulthan six months to reform them but tells him that not a single case should be filed on them in that time. Sulthan meets him and asks for an opportunity to reform the gang. Due to this, Sethupathi dies in his sleep.Īt Sethupathi's funeral, Sulthan finds out that the attackers that night are police officers sent by Commissioner Manickavel with the intent to kill Sethupathi. Sethupathi advises his son that whenever there is a problem, you must stand with your brothers. Sulthan angrily confronts Sethupathi and tells him that he is going to leave and not going to come back. His mother is distraught, leaving Sulthan mentally tarnished. The goon is critical and is admitted to the hospital. They injure Sethupathi and one of the goons. One day, the gang are attacked by a few people who pose as pizza delivery man. At the same time, Sulthan arrives at the village in great splendour. When asked by Mansoor as to why he accepted the case, Sethupathi tells that they have done many crimes in their life and they can do something good with the case of the head. Upon hearing this, Sethupathi accepts the case and promises to kill Jayaseelan. When Jayaseelan asked for their land they refuse, Jayaseelan is angered and kills many farmers. The head narrates that the village practices agriculture. Sulthan grows up and goes abroad to pursue Robotic Engineering.ģ5 years later, in 2021, the head of a village in Salem comes to Sethupathy with a request to kill Jayaseelan. The gang raises Sulthan with love and care, and Sulthan sees them as his brothers. Sethupathi goes to his wife while the baby is given to Mansoor who names him Vikram a.k.a. The goons beat the intruders while Sethupathi is with his wife. One day, Sethupathi's enemy's come into their house to kill Sethupathi but Analakshmi goes into labour. Sethupahi's wife Annalakshmi hates violence and is pregnant.
In 1986 Madras, Sethupathi is a gangster who has an army of 100 goons who are his gang.
